What is your favorite spread in the book?
The seniors spread. All their quotes are dumb.
What do you like about this book?
It has an excess of spreads.
What would you change if you were working on that book?
I would make more color pages.
Would you like to go to that school?
No, too many white people.
Why would you or would you not like to go to that school?
Too many white people. I guess I'd fit in, but I'd rather not be around a bunch of crackers.

Magazine Covers
1. Early Magazine Covers
Some early magazines didn't have covers. Rather, the opening page of the magazine contained a title and a table of contents. If a cover was used, it was usually modeled after a book cover. It would have a title and a small illustration for decorative purposes. Later on, symbolic illustrations and cover lines appeared on magazine covers. Many of the illustrations would be generic and the cover line would be unobtrusive.
2. The Poster Cover
Rather than being for the purpose of information, the poster cover was made to draw attention. The poster cover usually contained a picture or work of art and the title of the magazine. The picture didn't usually relate to the articles in the magazine, but they could be used to convey a certain mood.

Akins, Building, Happy
Akins - This really isn't my best work but I think this photograph does relate to Akins. Do I really need to explain myself?
Building - I think this is a good example of what I can do. I took time on the levels to add depth in certain areas. It relates to the building theme because it displays the architecture of a public school.
Happy - This photo wouldn't look good if I hadn't messed with the levels. I don't know if that's cheating or not but it makes an interesting photograph. It's a smiley face which is the symbol of "happy".

Yearbook/Newspaper
I think I would like to join newspaper. I was in a journalism class in 6th grade which was pretty fun and I think I would have fun doing it again. I have a lot to say about stuff and I would like to contribute to the Akins newspaper. I also like photography and I'd like to continue taking a class for it.
